Hello, I'm Lorenzo
I am a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in Rome, Italy.
How It Began
Moving to Italy wasn’t in the master plan. Like many international relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were demanding — new systems, new routines, new expectations. Everyday chores felt more complex than intended.
The Adaptation Phase
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and plenty of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took shape. We found places that worked for us, met other families, and began building something that felt stable.
Why I Created Lunar Folio Harbor
Most online information was either corporate relocation guidance or surface-level tourism content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site exists to fill that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in Italy.
What This Site Represents (And Isn't)
This site is:
- Hands-on experience from living in Italy
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever something truly changes
This site is NOT:
- An official tourism authority resource
- A platform for sponsored reviews
- An ordinary travel blog
What Lies Ahead
Our time in Italy goes on, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll continue documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Rome or anywhere in Italy, please feel free to contact me.
Best regards,
Lorenzo
